Events, Groups, Tattoos and S-bombs

Well howdy there!

*Chokes on dust* Excuse me while I go get all my woodland friends to help me dust off this account.

I wanted to write a hiatus journal weeks ago but was like naw, I'll be on, It's all good. Now I feel bad, I have messages unanswered and events I want to take part in, an over due art trade, ideas I want to draw, blah blah blah and with summer coming up I'm going to be even more busy.

Some updates if anyone's interested. 

I will be going to Anime North in Toronto, I've kept quiet about it because well, shit happens and it's a long story.
A friend of mine from school got into contact with me about two months ago, we caught up on what's going on in our lives. She's actually perusing modeling and has done pretty well. She did some modeling in Japan for a few months which sounds very exciting.
I'd love to leave a link to her facebook modeling page but my facebook is not working for me but I will try to later. 

I'm currently crafting steam punk goggles for her cosplay to add to her portfolio, and she'll be wearing them to the Con. They are finally completed and will be posted later tomorrow but I think they look pretty sweet. I'm also making two hair pieces that look like crap right now and it's taking so much restraint to not spray paint the shit out of them, maybe then they'll look cool. -_-' 
I'm going to let her see them before I do so, I don't want her to wear something that looks bad just so she won't hurt my feelings. lol

Her mom is an event promotor/planner and I was told she could get free passes to Anime North, but I'm not going to hold it against her or put pressure on her to get the tickets though, at least a photoshoot with my goggles will be fun and I look forward to it.

She's been going through a very hard time right now and I'm happy that my involvement with this project has lifted her spirits.

Can't wait to meet up with TwistyFox yo! Homie is coming back for a visit!
I haven't heard if any of my other nerd birds are going this year yet.

I'm thinking on closing my two groups. I no longer want to maintain or take responsibility for them anymore.

I was asked last fall to photograph my brothers best friend's wedding.
Well, I am no longer doing that. As I said before and to anyone who I tell that I agreed to do this "Let's see want happens, things always change."
Apparently my brother and I taking pictures was a conversation between him and the groom but not the bride and she wants to hire a professional. 
I'M SO OK WITH THIS YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND. I support her in getting a professional, the stress has been lifted, my feelings have not been hurt, I think the invite to crash the wedding may have been given, maybe take casual pictures as a spectator and I'm totally cool with that.
