Boxer Dog Glitter Ornaments

Description

Forgive the quality, picture was taken with phone.

I found some time in my busy schedule during the holiday season to relax and got started on some crafting ideas.
Glitter Ornament Tutorial by cutekick
:iconcutekick: made a really helpful tutorial and I just played around with it by making the white "wish bone" pattern that is on my dog's faces clear and filled the glass ornaments with styrofoam balls.
Yes these are modeled to resemble my two dogs, Chubba and Ringo. I got frustrated over the lack of boxer merchandise and decided to make my own. These became popular among family members and now they want me to make a pair for them. I have maybe 10 more of these glass ornaments and I plan on making more but not all of them as boxers.

I do want to make one more pair of my Ringo and Chubba ornaments and I want to change the design a little.
One feature about boxers (that I love them for anyways but in art makes it awkward) are their... toothbrush mustaches...

So I only made their bottom jaws black as a part of their "mask" marking to avoid making them look like little... Charlie Chaplins... even though it has a less signature boxer look.
Another idea I had is mixing black glitter with silver glitter to make the little grey hairs on Chubba's muzzle. Didn't think eye's looked right on them.
The felt ears and noses were not the shade I had in mind. I went to walmart and found the perfect fabric but there was a lot of it and I only needed a little, otherwise it would just sit around for years until my next crafting idea. So I bought a small pack of felt from an art store. I like the brown ears but the next ones will might have black noses. Also I bought fake snow that's totally going in the next ones and might look cute like a snow globe.

Material used
-glitter
-school glue
-glass ornaments
-sharpie
-rubbing Alcohol (for erasing sharpie mistakes)
-styrofoam balls
-felt fabric

These are very pretty! I like the use of styrofoam balls for the white inside! You did a wonderful job making them look like boxers.
